The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Day of Arafah, the Day of Sacrifice, and the days of Tashriq are our festival, the festival of the people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يوم عرفة، ويوم النحر، وأيام التشريق عيدنا أهل الإسلام، وهي أيام أكل وشرب.
Abu Dawud (2419), Tirmidhi (773), Nasai (3004), Ahmad (17379), and Tahawi in his commentary (318) narrated it. Ibn Khuzayma (2100), Ibn Hibban (3603), and Hakim (1/434) graded it sahih, all of them through routes from Musa bin Ali, from his father, who said, I heard Uqba bin Amir say, and then he narrated the hadith.Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih. Hakim said, sahih according to the standard of Muslim.
