The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a woman gives in charity from the food of her household without causing waste, she earns the reward for what she gave, her husband earns the reward for what he earned, and the storekeeper earns the same. None of them diminishes the reward of the others in the slightest."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إذا أنفقت المرأة من طعام بيتها غير مفسدة كان لها أجرها بما أنفقت، ولزوجها أجره بما كسب، وللخازن مثل ذلك لا ينقص بعضهم أجر بعض شيئا.
Bukhari narrated it in the book of zakat (1425), and Muslim narrated it in the book of zakat (1024), both from the hadith of Jareer, from Mansur, from Shaqiq, from Masruq, from Ayesha, and I mentioned it.
