Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Monotheism (7481) from Ali bin Abdullah, who said, "Sufyan narrated to us, from Amr, from Ikrima, from Abu Hurairah," and he mentioned something similar.Ali said, "Others said, 'A smooth rock conveys that to them, until, when terror is lifted from their hearts, they say, "What did your Lord say?" They say, "The truth. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."'"* [Saba 34:23]Ali said, "Sufyan also narrated to us, Amr narrated to us, from Ikrima, from Abu Hurairah, with this."Sufyan said, "Amr said, 'I heard Ikrima say, "Abu Hurairah narrated to us."'"Ali said, "I said to Sufyan, 'Did he say, "I heard Ikrima," and did Ikrima say, "I heard Abu Hurairah"?' He said, 'Yes.'I said to Sufyan, 'Someone narrated from Amr, from Ikrima, from Abu Hurairah, tracing it back to the Prophet, that he recited it as faragha.'"Sufyan said, "That is how Amr recited it, but I do not know whether he heard it that way or not."Sufyan said, "And that is our recitation."
