The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to deliver a sermon and mentioned the trial of the grave that a person undergoes. When he spoke of it, the Muslims cried out in distress.
قام رسول الله ﷺ خطيبا فذكر فتنة القبر التي يفتتن فيها المرء، فلما ذكر ذلك ضج المسلمون ضجة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Funerals (1373), from Yahya bin Sulayman, who said, Ibn Wahb told us, who said, Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, who said, Urwa bin Zubayr informed me, that he heard Asma bint Abu Bakr say... and he mentioned it.
