Ayesha reported,

Ayesha said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to ask repeatedly during his illness, "Where am I today? Where will I be tomorrow?" eager for the day he would spend with Ayesha. When my day came, Allah took his soul while he was between my chest and neck, and he was buried in my house.

عن عائشة قالت

إن كان رسول الله ﷺ ليتعذر في مرضه: أين أنا اليوم، أين أنا غدا؟ استبطاء ليوم عائشة، فلما كان يومي قبضه الله بين سخري ونحري، ودفن في بيتي.
