The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no deceased Muslim over whom a group of Muslims reaching one hundred prays, all of them interceding for him, except that their intercession on his behalf is accepted."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: ما من ميت يصلي عليه أمة من المسلمين يبلغون مائة كلهم يشفعون له إلا شفعوا فيه.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Funerals (947) from Hasan bin Isa, who said, Ibn Mubarak told us, Sallam bin Abu Muti informed us, from Ayub, from Abu Qilaba, from Abdullah bin Yazid, the foster son of Ayesha, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it.He said, "I then narrated it to Shuayb bin Habhab, who said, 'Anas bin Malik narrated it to me, from the Prophet ﷺ.'"Regarding his statement, "I then narrated it to Shuayb," the speaker is Sallam bin Abu Muti, as Nasai clarified (991). In a version he recorded, it reads, "A group of people numbering close to a hundred..."
