I prayed behind the Prophet ﷺ over a woman who had died in childbirth, and he stood at her middle.
صليت وراء النبي ﷺ على امرأة ماتت في نفاسها، فقام عليها وسطها.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Funerals (1332) from Imran bin Maysara, who said, Abdul-Warith narrated to us, Husayn narrated to us, from Ibn Burayda, Samura bin Jundab narrated to us, and he mentioned it. He also narrated it from Musaddad, from Yazid bin Zuray, from Husayn (who is Ibn Zakwan), stating that the woman died during her postpartum period (1331).Muslim narrated it in the Book of Funerals (964) from Yahya bin Yahya Tamimi, who said, Abdul-Warith bin Saeed informed us, with his chain of transmission, and he named the woman as Umm Kaab, who died while in her postpartum period.
