She said, "When news came to the Prophet ﷺ of the deaths of Ibn Haritha, Jafar, and Ibn Rawaha, he sat down with grief visible on his face, while I watched through a crack in the door."
قالت: لما جاء النبي ﷺ قتل ابن حارثة وجعفر وابن رواحة جلس يعرف فيه الحزن، وأنا أنظر من صائر الباب شق الباب.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Funerals (1299), and Muslim in the Book of Funerals (935), both from Muhammad bin Muthanna, who said, Abdul-Wahhab narrated to us, he said, I heard Yahya say, Amrah informed me, she said, I heard Ayesha, and then he mentioned the hadith.
