Sabra bin Fakiha reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The heart of the son of Adam lies between two of the fingers of the Most Merciful. If He wills to keep it upright, He keeps it upright, and if He wills to turn it astray, He turns it astray."

Hasanعن سبرة بن فاكهة قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ: قلب ابن آدم بين أصبعين من أصابع الرحمن إن شاء أن يقيمه أقامه، وإن شاء أن يزيغه أزاغه.
Ibn Abu Asim narrated it in Sunnah (220) from Hisham bin Ammar, from Abu Mutee Muawiya bin Yahya Atrabulsi, from Muhammad bin Walid Zubaydi, from Abdul-Rahman bin Jubayr bin Nufayr, from his father, from Sabra bin Fakiha, and he related it.Tabarani also narrated it in Kabir (7/137) - (138), and Ajurri in Sharia (908), both through the route of Hisham bin Ammar Dimashqi with his chain of transmission, similarly but in abridged form.Its chain of transmission is hasan, due to the slight criticism directed at Abu Mutee, who is Muawiya bin Yahya, though he is hasan al-hadith. The same applies to his teacher Hisham bin Ammar. This is why Haythami said in Majma (7/211), "Tabarani narrated it, and its men are trustworthy."
