She had met most of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and she reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited a woman from the Ansar who was ill.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, "How are you feeling?"She replied, "I am well, Messenger of Allah, but Umm Mildam has been tormenting me," meaning the fever. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Be patient, for it removes the impurities of a person just as the bellows removes the impurities of iron."

Abdul-Razzaq narrated it (20306), and Tabarani transmitted it through his route in Al-Kabir (24/405), from Mamar, from Zuhri, who said, "Fatimah the Khuzaite narrated to me," then he related the hadith.Haythami said in Majma (2/307), "Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih." But Fatimah the Khuzaite was not a companion, though she narrates from the companions, and the anonymity of companions does not cause harm. Haythami's statement, "Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih," is not correct, for Fatimah is not among the narrators of the Sahih.
