The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Trials continue to befall the believing man and the believing woman in themselves, their children, and their wealth, until they meet Allah with no sin upon them."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما يزال البلاء بالمؤمن والمؤمنة في نفسه وولده وماله، حتى يلقى الله وما عليه خطيئة.
Tirmidhi (2399), Ahmad (7859), and Hakim (1/346) all narrated it through the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, as mentioned. Its chain of transmission is hasan, for Muhammad bin Amr is Ibn Alqama Laythi, and he is hasan al-hadith.
