Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tawhid (7412) from Muqaddam bin Muhammad, who said, my uncle Qasim bin Yahya narrated to me, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, and he related it.As for what Muslim narrated in the Book on the Description of the Day of Resurrection (2788:24), from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba, who said, Abu Usama narrated to us, from Umar bin Hamza, from Salim bin Abdullah, Abdullah bin Umar told me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah will fold up the heavens on the Day of Resurrection, then take them in His right hand, then say, I am the King, where are the tyrants, where are the arrogant. Then He will fold up the earths with His left hand, then say, I am the King, where are the tyrants, where are the arrogant."An error occurred in this narration from Umar bin Hamza in his statement, "then He will fold up the earths with His left hand." Bukhari mentioned it as a suspended report (7413) without giving its wording in full.Umar bin Hamza is the son of Abdullah bin Umar bin Khattab. Ahmad said of him, his hadiths are objectionable (munakir). Nasai said, daif. There is no doubt that he erred in this wording.This hadith was narrated by Nafi and Ubaydullah bin Miqsam from Ibn Umar, and neither of them mentioned the left hand.Bayhaqi said, "None of them mentioned the left hand in it. The mention of the left hand has been reported in another hadith, in a different account, but it is extremely daif. Jafar bin Zubayr transmitted one of them alone, and Yazid Raqashi transmitted the other alone, and both of them are abandoned narrators (matrukan). How could that be sound, when it is soundly established from the Prophet ﷺ that he named both of his hands as right hands, and whoever said otherwise reported it according to how it occurred to him in wording, or according to the custom of the Arabs in mentioning the left in contrast to the right."
