The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My believing servant has no reward with Me except Paradise when I take away his beloved from among the people of this world and he bears it patiently, seeking My reward."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ما لعبدي المؤمن عندي جزاء إذا قبضت صفيه من أهل الدنيا، ثم احتسبه إلا الجنة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Chapter on Softening the Heart (6424), from Qutayba, who said, Yaqub bin Abdul-Rahman narrated to us, from Amr, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.His saying, "safiyyahu," with the sa opened, the fa vowelled with kasrah, and the ya doubled, means the intimate beloved, such as one's child, brother, or anyone whom a person loves.
