He asked Jabir bin Abdullah, "When did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray the Jumuah prayer?"Jabir replied, "He would pray it, then we would go to our camels and let them rest."
أنه سأل جابر بن عبد الله: متى كان رسول الله ﷺ يصلي الجمعة؟ قال: كان يصلي ثم نذهب إلى جمالنا فنريحها.
Muslim narrated it in the Chapter of Friday (29/858) through several routes from Sulayman bin Bilal, from Jafar, and he related the hadith. Muslim said, Abdullah, that is, Ibn Abdul-Rahman Darimi, the teacher of Muslim, added in his narration, "when the sun passes its zenith."In another version of his, through the route of Hasan bin Ayyash, from Jafar bin Muhammad, with the same wording. Hasan said, "So I said to Jafar, 'Which hour is that?' He said, 'The zenith of the sun.'"
