He entered the mosque while Abdul-Rahman bin Umm al-Hakam was delivering the sermon while seated. He said, "Look at this vile man delivering the sermon seated, when Allah the Exalted has said, 'And when they see merchandise or amusement, they rush off to it and leave you standing'" [Jumuah 62:11].
أنه دخل المسجد، وعبد الرحمن بن أم الحكم يخطب قاعدا فقال: انظروا إلى هذا الخبيث يخطب قاعدا، وقال الله تعالى: {وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها وتركوك قائما}
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Friday Prayer (864) from Muhammad bin Muthanna and Ibn Bashar, who both said, Muhammad bin Jafar told us, Shuba told us, from Mansur, from Amr bin Mura, from Abu Ubayda, from Kaab bin Ujra who said, then he mentioned it.Abdul-Rahman bin Umm al-Hakam is Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Uthman bin Rabia, the governor of Kufa, and Umm al-Hakam is the sister of Muawiya bin Abu Sufyan.
