The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The destruction of my nation lies in the Book and in milk."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, what do the Book and milk mean?"He replied, "They will learn the Quran and interpret it contrary to what Allah revealed, and they will love milk so much that they will abandon the congregational prayers and the Friday prayers and move out into the desert."
Ahmad (17415) and Abu Yaala (Maqsad Ali - 369) both narrated it through Abu Abdul-Rahman (who is Abdullah bin Yazid Muqri), from Ibn Lahia. Ahmad said, "from Abu Qabil," while Abu Yaala said, "Abu Qabil (Yahya bin Hani Maafiri) narrated to me," saying, "I heard Uqba bin Amir."Imam Ahmad said that Ibn Lahia said, "Yazid bin Abu Habib narrated to me, from Abu Khayr, from Uqba bin Amir Juhani," and he related it.Its chain is hasan, on account of Ibn Lahia, who was truthful but whose memory declined after his books were burned. However, the narration of the Abadila from him predates the burning of his books, and among them is Abdullah bin Yazid Muqri.
