Abu Bakr came in to see her while two young girls were beating tambourines and singing, during the days of Mina, with the Prophet ﷺ covered with his garment.Abu Bakr scolded them, but the Prophet ﷺ uncovered his face and said, "Let them be, Abu Bakr, for these are the days of Eid, and those days are the days of Mina."
أن أبا بكر دخل عليها، وعندها جاريتان في أيام منى تدقفان وتضربان، والنبي ﷺ متغض بثوبه- فانتهرها أبو بكر، فكشف النبي ﷺ عن وجهه فقال: دعهما يا أبا بكر فإنها أيام عيد وتلك الأيام أيام منى.
Bukhari narrated it in the book of the two Eids (987), and Muslim in the book of the two Eids (17/892), both of them through Ibn Shihab, Urwa narrated to him, from Ayesha. The wording is Bukhari's, and Muslim's wording is close to it.
