Abdul-Rahman bin Abis reported,

I heard Ibn Abbas being asked, "Did you attend the Eid prayer with the Prophet ﷺ?"He replied, "Yes, and were it not for my standing despite my young age, I would not have attended. He went to the landmark near the house of Kathir bin Salt and prayed, then delivered the sermon. Afterwards he came to the women with Bilal accompanying him, and he admonished them, reminded them, and commanded them to give charity. I saw them lowering their hands to toss their jewelry into Bilal's garment. Then he and Bilal went off to his house."

عن عبد الرحمن بن عابس قال

سمعت ابن عباس قيل له: أشهدت العيد مع النبي ﷺ؟ قال: نعم، ولولا مكاني من الصغر ما شهدته، حتى أتى العلم الذي عند دار كثير بن الصلت فصلي، ثم خطب، ثم أتى النساء ومعه بلال فوعظهن، وذكرهن، وأمرهن بالصدقة فرأيتهن يهوين بأيديهن يقذفنه في ثوب بلال، ثم انطلق هو وبلال إلى بيته.
