She said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A prayer in it is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque, except the Mosque of the Kaabah.'"
قالت: إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: صلاة فيه أفضل من ألف صلاة فيما سواه من المساجد، إلا مسجد الكعبة.
Muslim narrated it in the chapter on Hajj (1396), from Qutayba bin Saeed, from Layth bin Saad, from Nafi, from Ibrahim bin Mabad, from Ibn Abbas, who said, a woman fell ill, and she said, "If Allah heals me, I will go out and pray in Bayt al-Maqdis." She recovered, and then prepared herself, intending to set out. Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, came to greet her, and the woman told her about this. Maymuna said, "Stay here and eat what you have prepared, and pray in the masjid of the Messenger, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say..." and she then mentioned the hadith.Nawawi said, "Maymuna issued a ruling for a woman who had vowed to pray in Bayt al-Maqdis, that she should pray in the masjid of the Prophet ﷺ instead, and she based this on the hadith. This indication is clear, and it is evidence for the most correct of the positions in our school on this matter."
