The Prophet ﷺ said, "There has never been a prophet who was not given signs sufficient to make people believe in him. What I have been given, however, is a revelation that Allah revealed to me. So I hope to have the largest following among them on the Day of Resurrection."
قال النبي ﷺ: ما من الأنبياء نبي إلا أعطي ما مثله آمن عليه البشر، وإنما الذي أوتيت وحيا أوحاه الله إلي، فأرجو أن أكون أكثرهم تابعا يوم القيامة.
Bukhari narrated it in the Virtues of the Quran (4981), and Muslim in the Book of Faith (152), both from the hadith of Layth, from Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqburi, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who related it, and the wording given is Bukhari's.In Muslim's wording, "There is no prophet among the prophets but that he was given signs the like of which caused people to believe in him," then he mentioned something similar.That is, every prophet was given miracles like those given to the prophets before him, and so people believed in him because of them. As for my great and manifest miracle, it is the Quran, the like of which no one else was ever given.
