The Prophet ﷺ would not pray the Duha prayer except when returning from a journey.

Ibn Khuzayma (1229) narrated it from Ishaq bin Ibrahim Sawwaf, who said, "Salim bin Nuh Attar narrated to us, Ubaydullah informed us, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar," and he related it as mentioned. Ibn Hibban also narrated it in his Sahih (2528) from Abu Aruba, who said, "Ishaq bin Ibrahim Sawwaf narrated to us," with the same wording.Its chain of transmission is hasan, on account of the criticism directed at Salim bin Nuh Attar, whom Ibn Main and Nasai criticized. Imam Ahmad said, "There is no harm in his hadith." The narrator from him, Sawwaf, is Ishaq bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad Sawwaf Bahili, Abu Yaqub Basri, one of the teachers of Bukhari.
