My beloved instructed me with three things that I will never abandon as long as I live: fasting three days of every month, praying the Duha prayer, and not sleeping until I have performed the Witr prayer.
أوصاني حبيبي بثلاث، لن أدعهن ما عشت: بصيام ثلاثة أيام من كل شهر، وصلاة الضحى، وأن لا أنام حتى أوتر.
Muslim narrated it in "The Prayer of Travelers" (722), from Harun bin Abdullah and Muhammad bin Rafi, who said, Ibn Abu Fudayk told us, from Dahhak bin Uthman, from Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Hunayn, from Abu Mura, the freed slave of Umm Hani, from Abu Darda, and he mentioned it.
