Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Supplications (6410), and Muslim in the Book of Remembrance (2677), both from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ. The beginning of the hadith is, "Allah has ninety-nine names, whoever memorizes them enters Paradise." Then he said, "Allah is one and loves the odd number," and this wording is Muslim's. Bukhari added, "one hundred minus one." Muslim also mentioned this addition, but through another route, from Abdul-Razzaq, from Mamar, from Ayub, from Hammam bin Munabbih, from Abu Hurairah.
