I asked Ayesha about the night prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She said, "Seven, nine, or eleven, apart from the two rakahs of Fajr."
سألت عائشة عن صلاة رسول الله ﷺ بالليل فقالت: سبع وتسع وإحدى عشرة سوى ركعتي الفجر.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Tahajjud (1139), from Ishaq, who said, Ubaydullah narrated to us, who said, Israil informed us, from Abu Husayn, from Yahya bin Wathab, from Masruq, who mentioned it.
