A man was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and someone said, "He kept sleeping until morning and did not get up for the prayer."He said, "That is a man in whose ear the devil urinated," or he said, "in whose ears."
ذكر عند رسول الله ﷺ رجل فقيل: ما زال نائما حتى أصبح، ما قام إلى الصلاة. فقال: ذاك رجل بال الشيطان في أذنه- أو قال: في أذنيه
Bukhari related it in tahajjud (1144), and Muslim in prayer of the traveler (774), both through the route of Mansur, from Abu Waail, from Abdullah bin Masud, who then narrated the hadith. His statement, "when he stood for prayer," refers to the night prayer, though it may also refer to the obligatory dawn prayer.
