Abu Dharr reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "There are three whom Allah عز وجل loves, and three whom Allah عز وجل detests. As for those whom Allah عز وجل loves, the first is a man who comes to a group of people and asks them in the name of Allah, not by virtue of any kinship between himself and them, but they refuse him. Then one man hangs back behind them and gives to him in secret, so that none knows of his giving except Allah عز وجل and the one to whom he gave. The second is a group who travel through the night until, when sleep becomes more beloved to them than anything that could match it, they dismount and lay down their heads, but one of them stands up beseeching Me devoutly and reciting My verses. The third is a man who is in a military expedition, and when they meet the enemy and the others are routed, he turns his chest forward and fights until he is killed or Allah grants him victory. As for the three whom Allah عز وجل detests, they are the elderly fornicator, the arrogant poor man, and the oppressive rich man."
