I asked Anas bin Malik, "Did the Prophet ﷺ pray in his sandals?"He replied, "Yes."
سألت أنس بن مالك: أكان النبي ﷺ يصليي في نعليه؟ قال: نعم.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Prayer (386) and in the Book of Clothing (5850), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Mosques (555), both through the route of Abu Maslama Saeed bin Yazid Azdi, with the same wording.Ibn Daqiq Eid classified praying in sandals as one of the concessions, not one of the recommended practices.I say, for this reason I have not found any scholar who explicitly stated that praying in them is part of the adornment that Allah commanded.
