He heard the Prophet ﷺ recite in the two rakats of Fajr, in the first rakat, "Say, we believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us" [Al Imran 3:84], and in the other rakat this verse, "Our Lord, we believe in what You have sent down and we follow the Messenger, so record us among those who bear witness" [Al Imran 3:53], or "We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good tidings and a warner, and you will not be questioned about the companions of the Blaze" [Baqarah 2:119]. أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقرأ في ركعتي الفجر {قل ءامنا بالله وما أنزل علينا} [سورة آل عمران: ٨٤] في الركعة الأولى، وفي الركعة الأخرى بهذه الآية {ربنا ءامنا بما أنزلت واتبعنا الرسول فاكتبنا مع الشهدين} [سورة آل عمران: ٥٣] أو {إنا أرسلنك بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا ولا تسأل عن أصحاب الجحيم} [سورة البقرة: ١١٩] شك الدراوردي.
Abu Dawud (1260) narrated it from Muhammad bin Sabbah bin Sufyan, who said, "Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad narrated to us, from Uthman bin Umar, that is, bin Musa, from Abu Ghayth, from Abu Hurairah," and he related it.Bayhaqi (3/43) also narrated it through another route from Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad, who is Darawardi.Its chain is hasan on account of Uthman bin Umar bin Musa Taymi Madani, who served as a judge in Madinah. A group of narrators transmitted from him, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat (2007). Bukhari also mentioned him in Tarikh al-Kabir and said, "I consider him to be counted among the people of Madinah." Ibn Bakkar said, "His mother was an umm walad. He held the judgeship of Madinah during the time of Marwan bin Muhammad, and then the Commander of the Faithful Mansur appointed him to that judgeship. He remained with Mansur until he died at Hirah, before the Commander of the Faithful built the city of Salam (Baghdad)."A narrator of this standing has his hadith graded hasan, especially when it has sound foundations. Likewise, Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Darawardi is also present in the chain, and his hadith is likewise graded hasan.
