Bukhari reported it in the Book of Prayer Times (574), and Muslim reported it in the Book of Mosques (635), both from Hudba bin Khalid, who said, we were told by Hammam bin Yahya, who said, I was told by Abu Jamra Dubai, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Musa, from his father, who related the same account.Hudba bin Khalid is also called Haddab, with the letter doubled and the first letter given a fatha, as it appears in Sahih Muslim. And Abu Jamra is spelled with the letter jim.His words "the two barid times" refer to Asr and Fajr. Khattabi said, they were called the two barid times because they are prayed during the two cool parts of the day, which are its two ends, when the air is pleasant and the intensity of the heat has gone.
