Tabarani narrated it in al-Awsat, Majma al-Bahrayn (730), from Muhammad bin Uthman bin Abu Shayba, who said, Yahya bin Main told us, Abu Ubayda Haddad (whose name is Abdul-Wahid bin Wasil) told us, Hisham bin Hassan told us, Bakr bin Abdullah Muzani told us, from Jabir bin Abdullah, who said, then he related it.Haythami said in Majma (2/73), "Tabarani narrated it in al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of sahih." Its chain is hasan because of Tabarani's teacher Muhammad bin Uthman bin Abu Shayba, whom Salih Jazara deemed reliable, and Ibn Adi said, "There is no harm in him, and his hadith is hasan so long as he does not contradict others or bring something objectionable, and his hadiths have sound foundations, and this is one of them."The hadith has another route that strengthens it. Ahmad narrated it (14623, 14655, 14748) through several chains from Ibn Lahia, who said, Abu Zubayr told us, from Jabir, who said, "The Prophet ﷺ was the lightest of people in prayer while still being complete."There is well known criticism of Ibn Lahia due to the poor quality of his memory, but there is no harm in using him to corroborate.
