Anas bin Malik reported,

I never prayed behind anyone whose prayer was briefer yet more complete than the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was balanced in its parts, and the prayer of Abu Bakr was likewise balanced. When Umar bin Khattab came, he lengthened the dawn prayer. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah hears whoever praises Him," he would stand so long that we would say, "He has forgotten." Then he would prostrate and sit between the two prostrations so long that we would say, "He has forgotten."
