The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites the Verse of the Throne after every obligatory prayer, nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من قرأ آية الكرسي في دبر كل صلاة مكتوبة، لم يمنعه من دخول الجنة إلا أن يموت.
Nasai narrated it in Al-Yawm wal-Laylah (100), saying, Husayn bin Bishr informed us in Tarsus, we wrote it down from him, he said, Muhammad bin Himyar narrated to us, Muhammad bin Ziyad narrated to us, from Abu Umama, and he mentioned the hadith. Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Himyar, for Ibn Main deemed him reliable, and Nasai said, there is no harm in him, and the Hafiz placed him at the rank of "saduq."Munziri said in Targhib wal-Tarhib (2/453), Nasai and Tabarani narrated it with chains of transmission, one of which is sahih, and our shaykh Abu Hasan said, it meets the standard of Bukhari. Ibn Hibban also narrated it in the Book of Prayer and graded it sahih, and Tabarani added in some of his routes, "Say, He is Allah, One" [Ikhlas 112:1], and its isnad with this addition is also good.Ibn Jawzi was inattentive and included this hadith among the fabrications (1/244) because of a remark about Muhammad bin Himyar from Yaqub bin Sufyan, that he is not strong, but this is an unexplained criticism directed at someone whom Yahya bin Main deemed reliable and from whom Bukhari and others transmitted.The hadith has a corroborating witness from the hadith of Mughira bin Shuba, as a statement of the Prophet, "Whoever recites the Verse of the Throne after every prayer, nothing stands between him and entering Paradise except death, and when he dies he enters Paradise." Abu Naeem narrated it in Al-Hilya (3/221) through the route of Makki bin Ibrahim, Hashim bin Hashim narrated to us, from Umar bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad bin Kaab, from Mughira bin Shuba, and he mentioned the hadith.Its isnad is daif, for it contains Umar bin Ibrahim, whom no one deemed reliable, rather Aqeeli said of him, he is not corroborated in this.
