The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the prayer, and when he bowed he said, "Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him," three times, then he raised his head.
أن رسول الله ﷺ صلى، فلما ركع قال: سبحان الله وبحمده ثلاث مرات، ثم رفع رأسه.
Tabarani narrated it in al-Kabir (3/321-322), and Ahmad (22906), both through various routes from Abdul-Hameed bin Bahram Fazari, from Shahr bin Hawshab, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ghanm, from Abu Malik Ashari, who mentioned it. The wording given is Tabarani's, while Ahmad's wording is longer. Its chain is hasan due to Shahr bin Hawshab. Haythami said in Majma al-Zawaid (2780), "It contains Shahr bin Hawshab, about whom there is some discussion, but more than one scholar has deemed him trustworthy."
