The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you prostrate, place your palms on the ground and raise your elbows."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إذا سجدت فضع كفيك، وارفع مرفقيك.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Prayer (494), from Yahya bin Yahya, who said, "Ubaydullah bin Iyad informed us, from Iyad, from Bara," and he mentioned it.
