We were sitting with Abd al-Rahman bin Abza when he said, "Shall I show you how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed?"We answered, "Yes."So he stood up and pronounced the takbir, then recited, then bowed and placed his hands on his knees until every limb settled into its place. Then he rose until every limb settled into its place. Then he prostrated until every limb settled into its place. Then he rose until every bone settled into its place. Then he prostrated until every bone settled into its place. Then he rose and performed the second rakah just as he had performed the first. Then he said, "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed."
Imam Ahmad (15371) narrated it from Harun bin Maruf, who said, Damrah narrated to us, from Ibn Shawzab, from Abdullah bin Qasim who said, and then he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan due to the slight criticism directed at Damrah, who is Damrah bin Rabia Filastini, and his teacher Ibn Shawzab, who is Abdullah bin Shawzab Khurasani, except that these two are graded hasan in hadith transmission.
