From his father that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the Zuhr prayer "When the sky is split asunder" [Inshiqaq 84:1] and similar surahs.

Ibn Khuzayma narrated it (511) from Muhammad bin Harb Wasiti, who said, Zayd bin Hubab narrated to us, from Hasan bin Waqid, the judge of Marw, who said, Abdullah bin Burayda informed me, from his father, and he then related the hadith.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Hasan bin Waqid, for he is "truthful," since most critics said there is no harm in him, and he is among the narrators relied upon by Muslim. As for Hafiz, he placed him at the level of "trustworthy but has some lapses," though it would be more fitting to describe him as "truthful."Another hadith from Burayda Aslami with this same chain will follow in the chapter on recitation in the Isha prayer. This chain also includes Zayd bin Hubab, whose hadith is graded hasan.
