When the qiblah was changed to the Kaabah, a man passed by the people of Quba while they were praying. He said to them, "The qiblah has been changed to the Kaabah." So they turned, along with their imam, to face the Kaabah.
لما حولت القبلة إلى الكعبة، مر رجل بأهل قباء، وهم يصلون. فقال لهم: قد حولت القبلة إلى الكعبة، فاستداروا وإمامهم نحو الكعبة.

Daraqutni (1074) and Tabarani in al-Kabir (200/6) both narrated it from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Musa, who said, Abdul-Salam bin Hafs told us, from Abu Hazim, from Sahl bin Saad, who mentioned it.Haythami said in al-Majma (14/2), "Its narrators are trustworthy."
