The Messenger of Allah's ﷺ announcer came and said, "The qiblah has been changed." The imam was leading the prayer and had already prayed two units. The announcer said, "The qiblah has been changed to the Kaabah." So they prayed the remaining two units facing the Kaabah.
جاء منادي رسول الله ﷺ فقال: إن القبلة قد حولت. والإمام في الصلاة قد صلى ركعتين. فقال المنادي: قد حولت القبلة إلى الكعبة. فصلوا الركعتين الباقيتين إلى الكعبة.

Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba (1/334) and Bazzar in Kashf Astar (421) both narrated it, from the hadith of Zayd bin Hubab, who said, Jameel bin Ubayd Abu Nadr told us, who said, Thumama told us, from his grandfather Anas bin Malik, and he mentioned it.Bazzar said, "We do not know of anyone who narrated it from Thumama except Jameel." Haythami said in Majma (13/2), "Its isnad is hasan."I say, it is as he said, for Jameel bin Ubayd and his teacher Thumama bin Abdullah bin Anas are both truthful narrators. Ibn Main said of Jameel, "Trustworthy." Thumama bin Abdullah bin Anas was deemed trustworthy by Ahmad and Nasai. Ibn Adi said, "He has hadiths from Anas, and I hope there is no harm in him."This is another hadith from Anas about the people turning toward the qibla while they were in prayer, and the prevailing view is that it was the Dhuhr prayer, since the first hadith of Anas concerns the turning of the qibla during the Fajr prayer.
