Bara bin Azib reported,

When the verse "Not equal are those believers who sit at home" [Nisa 4:95] was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Call Zayd for me, and let him come with the tablet, the inkwell, and the shoulder-blade," or, "the shoulder-blade and the inkwell."Then he said, "Write, 'Not equal are those believers who sit at home and those who strive in the cause of Allah.'"Behind the Prophet ﷺ stood Amr bin Umm Maktum, who was blind. He said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you command me to do, for I am a man whose sight is impaired?"So in its place was revealed, "Not equal are those believers who sit at home, other than those who have a disability" [Nisa 4:95].
