Abu Darda reported,

Rain was withheld during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so we asked the Prophet of Allah to pray for rain on our behalf. He prayed for rain, and the next morning the Prophet of Allah ﷺ came upon a group of people talking. They were saying, "We were given rain last night by such and such a star."The Prophet of Allah said, "Allah does not bestow a blessing upon a people without some of them waking up as deniers of it."
