The Prophet ﷺ performed all the prayers on the day of the Conquest with a single ablution and wiped over his leather socks.Umar said to him, "You have done something today that you did not used to do."He replied, "I did it deliberately, Umar."
أن النبي ﷺ صلى الصلوات يوم الفتح بوضوء واحد، ومسح على خفيه، فقال له عمر: لقد صنعت اليوم شيئا لم تكن تصنعه! فقال: عمدا صنعته يا عمر.
Muslim narrated it in the Chapter on Purification (277) from the hadith of Alqama bin Marthad, from Sulayman bin Burayda, from his father, and he mentioned the hadith. It was previously mentioned in the chapter on the permissibility of performing multiple prayers with a single wudu.
