I used to suffer greatly from prostatic fluid and would bathe frequently because of it. I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this, and he said, "Performing ablution is sufficient for you in such cases."I asked, "Messenger of Allah, what about what gets on my clothes from it?"He replied, "It is enough for you to take a handful of water and sprinkle it over the area of your garment where you think it has touched."
Abu Dawud (210), Tirmidhi (115), and Ibn Majah (506) all narrated it from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq, who said, "Saeed bin Ubayd bin Sabbaq told me, from his father, from Sahl bin Hunayf," and he mentioned it.Ibn Khuzayma (291) and Ibn Hibban (1103) both graded it sahih, both from this same route. Its chain is hasan because of Ibn Ishaq, for he is truthful, and though he practiced tadlis, here he explicitly stated that he heard it directly.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith, and we do not know it except from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq concerning madhi, like this."
