The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The devil comes to one of you during his prayer and blows into his backside, making him imagine that he has broken his ablution when he has not. If any of you experiences this, he should not leave the prayer unless he hears a sound with his ear or detects an odor with his nose."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: يأتي أحدكم الشيطان في صلاته حتى ينفخ في مقعدته، فيخيل إليه أنه قد أحدث ولم يحدث، فإذا وجد ذلك أحدكم فلا ينصرفن حتى يسمع صوته بأذنه، أو يجد ريحا بأنفه.
Bazzar reported it in Kashf Astar (1/147, no. 281), "Muhammad bin Umar told us, Ismail bin Sabih told us, Abu Uways told us, from Thawr bin Yazid, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas," and he related it. Bazzar said, "We do not know it with this wording except through the route of Ibn Abbas, and it has been reported with the same meaning through another route."Haythami said in Majma al-Zawaid (1/242), "Tabarani reported it in Al-Kabir and Bazzar reported something similar, and its narrators are the narrators of the sahih [collections]."I say, it is as he said, except that Ismail bin Sabih is truthful, as the Hafiz said in Taqrib. Abu Uways is Abdullah bin Abdullah bin Uways bin Malik bin Abu Amir Asbahi Madani, the relative and son-in-law of Malik, and one of the narrators of Muslim. Ibn Main said, "He is not strong." Abu Hatim said, "His hadith is written down but not relied upon." He is "truthful but makes mistakes," as the Hafiz said.
