The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you who will be forbidden from the Fire, or upon whom the Fire will be forbidden? It is forbidden upon every person who is approachable, gentle, and easygoing."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ألا أخبركم بمن يحرم على النار أو بمن تحرم عليه النار، على كل قريب هين سهل.
Narrated by Tirmidhi (2488), Ahmad (3938), Abu Yaala (5053), and Ibn Hibban (469, 470), all through Musa bin Uqba, from Abdullah bin Amr Awdi, from Abdullah bin Masud, who said, then he mentioned it.Tirmidhi said, "Hasan gharib." In the chain is Abdullah bin Amr Awdi, who is majhul (unknown), and Ibn Hajar said, "Maqbul," meaning if corroborated. He has indeed been corroborated by a man from the descendants of Abdullah bin Masud, as narrated by Abu Yaala (5060), and with this corroboration the hadith rises to the level of hasan. The unnamed narrator in Abu Yaala's report is from the descendants of Abdullah bin Masud, and none among them is known to be suspect. The hadith has many corroborating reports, but all of them are defective.
