The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is not one of you but has two dwellings, a dwelling in Paradise and a dwelling in the Fire. When he dies and enters the Fire, the people of Paradise inherit his dwelling. That is the meaning of His saying, "Those are the inheritors" [Muminun 23:10]."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما منكم من أحد إلا له منزلان: منزل في الجنة ومنزل في النار. فإذا مات فدخل النار ورث أهل الجنة منزلة. فذلك قوله تعالى: {أوليك هم الورثون} [المؤمنون١٠].
Ibn Majah (4341), Bayhaqi in Shuab (373), and Ibn Abu Hatim, as Ibn Kathir mentioned in his Tafsir (5/464), all narrated it through the route of Abu Muawiya, from Amash, from Abu, mentioning it, and its chain of transmission is sahih.
