The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise are hairless, beardless, with eyes lined as if with kohl. Their youth never fades, and their garments never wear out."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا أهل الجنة جرد مرد كحل، لا يفنى شبابهم، ولا تبلى ثيابهم.
Narrated by Tirmidhi (2539), Darimi (2868), and Abu Naeem in Sifat al-Jannah (256), all through the route of Muaz bin Hisham, from his father, from Amir Ahwal, from Shahr bin Hawshab, from Abu Hurairah, who said, then mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Shahr bin Hawshab, for there is disagreement about him, though his hadith is hasan when nothing objectionable appears in it. Tirmidhi said, "Hasan gharib."Bearing the same meaning is what was narrated from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, beardless, white-skinned, curly-haired, with kohl-lined eyes, thirty-three years of age, in the form of Adam, sixty cubits tall and seven cubits wide." Narrated by Ahmad (7933), Tabarani in al-Saghir (808) and al-Awsat (5418), and Abu Naeem in Sifat al-Jannah (255), all through the route of Ali bin Zayd, from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah, then mentioned it. In the chain is Ali bin Zayd, who is Ibn Jadan, and he is daif.Bearing the same meaning also is what was narrated from Anas bin Malik, who said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, beardless, with kohl-lined eyes." Narrated by Tabarani in al-Saghir (1164) and Abu Naeem in Sifat al-Jannah (255), both through the route of Umar bin Abdul-Wahid, from Uzai, from Harun bin Riab, from Anas bin Malik, who said, then mentioned it. The wording given is Tabarani's, while with Abu Naeem it reads, "People will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection in the form of Adam, hairless, beardless, with kohl-lined eyes, thirty-three years of age, then they will be brought a tree in Paradise and clothed from it, their garments never wearing out and their youth never fading." There is a break in this chain, Harun bin Riab is among the trustworthy and devout, but there is disagreement about whether he heard from Anas.Bearing the same meaning as well is what was narrated from Muaz bin Jabal, that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, beardless, with kohl-lined eyes, thirty or thirty-three years of age." Narrated by Tirmidhi (2545), Ahmad (22106), Bazzar (2644), and Abu Naeem in Sifat al-Jannah (257), all through the route of Imran Qattan, from Qatada, from Shahr bin Hawshab, from Abdul-Rahman bin Ghanm, from Muaz bin Jabal, then mentioned it. Its wording with Bazzar is, "The people of Paradise are hairless, beardless, thirty-three years of age," without the "or." Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan gharib hadith, and some of the companions of Qatada narrated this from Qatada as a mursal report, without connecting the chain."As for the statement, "hairless, beardless, with kohl-lined eyes," it has a basis.
