I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "In Paradise there is a sea of water, a sea of honey, a sea of milk, and a sea of wine, and from these the rivers branch out."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: إن في الجنة بحر الماء، وبحر العسل، وبحر اللبن، وبحر الخمر، ثم تشقق الأنهار بعد.
Tirmidhi (2571) and Ahmad (20052) both narrated it through the route of Yazid bin Harun, who said, Jareeri informed us, from Hakeem bin Muawiya, from his father, and he related it. Jareeri is Saeed bin Iyas, who had experienced confusion in his memory late in life, and Yazid bin Harun heard from him after this confusion set in. However, Ibn Hibban (7409) narrated it through the route of Khalid bin Abdullah Tahhan, from Jareeri, with similar wording.Bukhari included narrations from Khalid Tahhan, from Jareeri, and this is evidence that Bukhari held the view that Tahhan heard from Jareeri before his confusion set in, though some scholars have hesitated to state with certainty whether he heard from him before or after this happened. Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Hakeem bin Muawiya, whose hadith is hasan.
