I was standing beside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when one of the rabbis of the Jews came and said, "Peace be upon you, Muhammad."I shoved him so hard that he nearly fell over.He said, "Why did you push me?"I replied, "Why don't you say, 'Messenger of Allah'?"The Jewish man said, "We only call him by the name his family gave him."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My name is Muhammad, the name my family gave me."The Jewish man said, "I have come to ask you something."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Will it benefit you if I tell you?"He answered, "I will hear it with my own ears."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then began to scratch the ground with a stick he had with him and said, "Ask."The Jewish man asked, "Where will the people be on the Day when the earth is changed into another earth, and the heavens as well?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "They will be in darkness, below the bridge."He asked, "Who will be the first of the people to cross over?"He said, "The poor among the emigrants."The Jewish man asked, "What will be their welcoming gift when they enter Paradise?"He said, "The extra lobe of the fish's liver."He asked, "What will be their meal after that?"He said, "The bull of Paradise that used to graze at its edges will be slaughtered for them."He asked, "And what will be their drink with it?"He said, "From a spring there called Salsabil."He said, "You have spoken the truth…" the rest of the hadith.
