The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The people of Paradise will gaze up at those in the lofty chambers above them just as you gaze at a brilliant star receding on the horizon, in the east or the west, because of the disparity in rank between them."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, are those the dwellings of the prophets, which none but them can reach?"He replied, "On the contrary, by the One in whose hand is my soul, they are for Some men who believed in Allah and affirmed the truth of the messengers."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: إن أهل الجنة ليتراءون أهل الغرف من فوقهم، كما تتراءون الكوكب الدري الغابر من الأفق من المشرق أو المغرب، لتفاضل ما بينهم قالوا: يا رسول الله، تلك منازل الأنبياء لا يبلغها غيرهم، قال: بلى، والذي نفسي بيده، رجال آمنوا بالله وصدقوا المرسلين.
Bukhari narrated it in the Beginning of Creation (3256), and Muslim in Paradise and its Description of Bliss and its People (2833), both through Malik bin Anas, from Safwan bin Salim, from Ata bin Yasar, from Abu Saeed Khudri, who mentioned it.
