Hakim narrated it (1/84), saying, Abdullah bin Umar bin Ali Jawhari told me at Marw from the original of his book, Yahya bin Sasuyah bin Abdul-Kareem told us, Suwayd bin Nasr told us, Ibn Mubarak told us, from Maamar, from Qatada, from Zurara bin Awfa, from Abu Hurairah, who said, then he related it. He said, "This is a hadith sahih in its chain according to the standard of the two Shaykhs, if Suwayd bin Nasr preserved it well, given that he is trustworthy and reliable."Then he narrated it through the route of Abdan (whose name is Abdullah bin Uthman Marwazi), from Abdullah bin Mubarak with the same chain, stopped at the companion, with the wording, "The Day of Resurrection will be, for the believers, like the length of time between Dhuhr and Asr."Its chain is sahih, and Abdan is trustworthy and a hafiz, and the ruling goes to whoever raised it to the Prophet, because something like this would not be said as a matter of personal opinion.
